Head Teacher - Rancho Penasquitos and Carmel Mtn Ranch

Miss Patty has always had a passion for education. She co-founded Lotus Learners in 2010 with Miss Neha and together, they have been working hard to curate a curriculum where each child can blossom into their full potential. Today, with three active preschools, they have set off the lives of over 121 future presidents, athletes, musicians,  business owners, professors and more! 

Along with helping to run three preschools, she serves as the Regional President of the Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation in the Pacific Region where she organizes fundraiser events and creates awareness campaigns to help educate children in rural India. Previously, she also worked as an English teacher for four years at the Embassy Center for English Studies, working with over 200 students of all ages; primarily business and professional adults learning English as a second language from all over the world. 

Miss Patty earned her Masters degree in Interior Design from the Philadelphia College of Art, and managed a design and construction company in India for many years before moving to San Diego in 2006. 

MISS NEHA

Head Teacher - Sabre Springs

Miss Neha is a certified Montessori teacher with an AMS training. Inspired by her mom, who was a preschool teacher for 20 years, she decided to take up Montessori training for children between 3-6 years at Montessori Children's House. She completed her training in 2009 with a one year internship in a Kindergarten and then began working at the Encinitas Country Day School, where she eventually became lead teacher, working with up to 24 children. She really enjoyed teaching and decided to take her passion to the next level by opening a school with her partner Miss Patty. Together they have designed a comprehensive curriculum in the best learning interest of the child and they strive to make every child's experience at Lotus Learner's Montessori very comforting and rewarding. 

Miss Neha has always loved working with children, but it was during her Masters thesis on "Nutritional Analysis of Children between 3-6 years" when she really got a chance to interact with them on a personal level and discovered how insatiably curious they were to learn. She loved going to schools and talking to them about eating healthy because she strongly believes you are what you eat. Miss Neha has a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and is certified to teach yoga to children under 12 years.
